A Certificate of Occupancy (C.O.) is issued for new construction and for change of use only. No building shall be occupied without benefit of a Certificate of Occupancy. For building permits or single trade permits such as electrical, mechanical, or plumbing, there is no need to visit the office to pick up your permit. You may view it in the portal, and save or print it for your records.
